On Wednesday, October 30, 2024, the activities of the Alnoor University Debate Championship were concluded. The event had started on Saturday, October 19, 2024. In the opening ceremony, Dr. Yaseen Taha Al-Hajjar, President of Alnoor University, delivered a speech, followed by Mr. Saad Saleh, the event coordinator, who gave an introductory address and announced the winners at the end of the competition. College of Engineering was awarded first place, followed by the team from the College of Pharmacy in second place. The best speakers were also recognized. The closing ceremony included the presentation of medals and certificates to the students, the organizing team, and the judges.
The closing ceremony was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Nabil Ahmed Jergis, Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Ismail Abdul Wahab, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Khazal Fathi Zidan, Dean of the College of Education , and Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Jubouri, Dean of the College of Arts
