Professor Dr. Munir Albadrani delivers a lecture on the identity of the scientific researcher

In the presence of the Scientific Assistant to the President Alnoor University , and the Deans of the Faculties of Pharmacy,Education and ,Applied Arts As part of the series of scientific lectures aimed at promoting a culture of research at Noor University, Professor Dr. Munir Salem Albadrani, the university’s Scientific Advisor, delivered an in-person and online scientific lecture on Sunday, 22/2/2026, entitled (The Identity of the Scientific Researcher)
The lecture addressed the concept of research identity and its importance in building a solid academic persona, in addition to outlining the principles that a researcher should adhere to in their scientific career, including commitment to research ethics, ensuring originality and scientific rigor, and ultimately establishing an academic reputation based on robust knowledge production.
As Professor Dr. Albadrani highlighted, the importance lies in publishing in peer-reviewed scientific journals, activating accredited academic accounts, and developing research skills in line with global advancements, emphasizing that a researcher’s identity is not built on degrees alone, but through continuity and impactful scientific contribution.
The lecture was attended by a number of faculty members and researchers, in addition to active online participation, which included interventions and questions that enriched the scientific discussion and reinforced the lecture’s objectives in fostering an informed research culture within the university.
