Alnoor University Female Faculty Members in the Space of Combating Violence Against Women

Under the sponsorship of Mr. President of Alnoor University , Professor Dr. Yassin Taha Al-Hajjar , and under the supervision of the Women's Affairs Unit, the members of the Women's Affairs Liaison Units at the university, in collaboration with the Women's Affairs Unit at the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Mosul, carried out on Sunday, December 8, 2024, an awareness, educational, and voluntary campaign by distributing cards and posters, continuing the "Sixteen Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence" campaign. The cards carry phrases encouraging women to rely on themselves and face the challenges they encounter from their surroundings and society, as well as the necessity to stop all forms of violence against them. The distribution took place in the courtyards of Alnoor University. Also, badges and wristbands made of flowers were hung for all participants and students, which are orange in color and symbolize the fight against violence against women. The campaign was contributed to by a group of faculty members, namely:
