Alnoor University concludes its annual chess tournament.

- Alnoor University through the Student Activities Department, organized the second annual Alnoor Chess Championship, with the participation of forty players from its various colleges. The event took place on Sunday and Monday, December 8th and 9th, 2024. The tournament began with an orientation session, during which the head of the refereeing committee, Qutaiba Younis Al-Abbasi, provided several instructions related to the competition and its rules. The matches were held at the university's central library building and continued over the course of the two days, culminating in the crowning of three students: Ali Qusay Ali Talib, a third-year student in the Radiology Department, who secured first place; Omar Ihsan Ibrahim, a third-year student in the College of Dentistry who took second place; and Anas Ahmed Khazal, a second-year student in the College of Pharmacy , who earned third place.
