On the occasion of World Medication Adherence Day, the College of Pharmacy at Alnoor University is organizing a medication adherence initiative

In the presence of prof. Dr. Yassen Taha Mohammed Ali President of Alnoor University , With Bashar Mahmoud Ali, the College of Pharmacy at Alnoor University held a special scientific seminar on the morning of Saturday, 28/03/2026, on the occasion of World Medication Adherence Day Dr. Omar Qutaiba Badr Aldin launched allela The Dean of the College, through the (Alnoor Initiative for Medication Adherence) delivered its main lecture in a step aimed at enhancing awareness of the importance of adherence to pharmacological treatment and its role in improving patients’ health outcomes.

This initiative is led by a distinguished group of Iraqi pharmacists, with active participation from pharmacy students in both public and private universities and colleges in Iraq, reflecting a spirit of cooperation and joint work to improve the health situation and promote proper pharmaceutical awareness in society.

A scientific symposium was held during which the (Alnoor Initiative for Medication Adherence) was launched. The event was attended by the Scientific Assistant to the President of Alnoor University, the Deans of the Faculties of Pharmacy at the University of Mosul and Nineveh University, the Head of the Pharmacy Department at Alqabas Private College, and the Media Advisor of Alnoor University.
