The Library of Alnoor University is enriched with books donated by the family of a prominent Iraqi medical figure

 The family of the late Dr. Hashim Shaker Mahmoud Alsuheili, a specialist in internal medicine, donated forty-nine (49) prescribed academic textbooks to the library Alnoor University which are enriched by such books, and the President of the University has recommended Prof. Dr. Yassen Taha Mohammed Ali By establishing a special pavilion for it in the central library, where he carried out Dr. Shakir Mahmood Saied Assistant Dean of the College of Pharmacy for Scientific Affairs in completing the receipt of the books and transporting them from Baghdad to the university
It is mentioned that Dr. Hashim Shakir was born in 1932. He is a specialist in internal medicine and worked in several military medical facilities. After his retirement in 1961, he opened a private clinic, then worked in the public clinic and remained there until 2009.
