A scientific seminar entitled Medical Professions Practices in the Balance of the Law at Alnoor University

Dr. Yassen Taha Mohammed Ali The President of Alnoor University: Alnoor University, represented by At the College of Law and Political Science In collaboration with the College of Pharmacy, an extensive scientific seminar was held titled (Practices of Medical Professions in the Balance of Law) as part of its efforts to enhance integration between the legal and medical aspects.

and chaired the seminar Assistant Professor Dr. Bashar Rasheed Hussein It witnessed distinguished academic and professional attendance, and included three specialized axes that addressed the topic’s dimensions from multiple perspectives.

In the first axis, the Judge of the Nineveh Investigative Court, Mr. Yasser Mohammed Saeed Qadu, reviewed the legal framework governing medical practices, highlighting the legal responsibilities imposed on healthcare professionals in the health sector.

The second axis addressed the regulatory aspects, where Dr. Majid Shingali, former head of the Parliamentary Health Committee, along with a representative of the National Security Service Directorate, presented a perspective on the mechanisms of oversight and their role in regulating medical practice and ensuring compliance with the approved regulations.

In the third axis, both Dr. Muhammad Alhouri, the head of the Iraqi Doctors’ Syndicate – Nineveh branch, and presented.Dr. Omer Qutaiba BaderAldeen Allela, The Dean of the College of Pharmacy presented an academic and medical perspective on the current state of the medical professions and ways to develop them in line with professional and legal standards.

This seminar comes as part of the University of Alnoor’s orientation toward enhancing legal and medical awareness and opening horizons for joint scientific dialogue, contributing to the development of professional performance and the consolidation of sound practices across various healthcare sectors.
