The Faculty of Pharmacy at Alnoor University is holding a workshop on occupational safety for first-year students

The College of Pharmacy at Alnoor University , A specialized training workshop in the field of occupational safety within chemistry laboratories targeted first-year students at the college, aiming to enhance awareness of safety procedures and instill proper laboratory practices from the early stages of their academic journey.
The workshop was supervised by Dr. Shakir Mahmood SaiedDuring the session, Assistant Lecturers Taif Anmar and Omar Mohammed delivered presentations, which included both theoretical and practical components covering the principles of safe handling of chemicals, methods for preventing potential hazards in laboratories, as well as an introduction to the use of personal protective equipment and emergency procedures.
This workshop comes as part of the college’s efforts to prepare students who possess solid scientific knowledge coupled with a responsible professional culture, in alignment with the requirements of the pharmaceutical work environment and in a way that enhances quality and safety standards in laboratory training.
