The first meeting of the Industrial Advisory Council was held at the College of Pharmacy – Alnoor University

The College of Pharmacy held in Alnoor University , On the morning of Saturday, 4 April 2026, the first meeting of the Industrial Advisory Council was held, chaired by Dr. Omer Qutaiba BaderAldeen Allela, The Dean of the College, in the presence of a number of College Council members, the Quality Assurance Officer, and representatives of the health and pharmaceutical sectors, held the meeting as part of efforts to enhance integration between educational outcomes and labor market needs. The meeting included the reading of the administrative order concerning the formation of the council, introductions among its members, as well as a review of its objectives and authorities. The attendees also discussed the current status of the college’s outcomes and their alignment with labor market requirements, in addition to exploring ways to develop summer and practical training programs for the college’s students. The meeting was attended by several council members and representatives of external entities, including:
Pharmacist Ahmed Hazem Aziz (representative of pharmaceutical media companies), Pharmacist Muthanna Nizar Qasim (representative of private pharmacies), Pharmacist Anmar Qutaiba Younis (representative of pharmaceutical manufacturing plants), Pharmacist Mahmoud Abdul Hafez (representative of the Nineveh Health Directorate), and Mr. Abdulrahman Dhunoon Yousif (representative of civil society organizations). The Dean of the College affirmed that the formation of the Industrial Advisory Council represents a strategic step toward developing academic programs, enhancing the quality of education, and strengthening cooperation with the health and industrial sectors, contributing to the preparation of graduates who possess the required competence and professional readiness.
